Hey, I’m Robby Ryan - the owner and craftsman behind Heartwood Board Company!
For several years, God has been leading me to start a company that serves the community through my passion for woodworking. This passion stems from growing up watching my grandfather turn simple pieces of wood into fabulous furniture and decor. As an engineer, I have always had a knack for building and creating and understanding how things work.
Combining my passions for engineering and woodworking, I decided that laser engraving would be a fun and adventurous addition to my shop. As I began to hone my skills with this new piece of equipment, the vision of Heartwood Board Co was born!
I married my wife Hannah in 2018 and we have two amazing kids, Grace and Ellie. Hannah has been my rock and supported me through everything, especially when having the crazy idea to start our own business.
